Nicholas Zullo, 87, of Clearwater, Florida, formerly of West Haven, husband of the late Mary Grillo Zullo and his present wife Lidia Zullo passed away at Bay Pine Hospice in Clearwater, FL. on Friday May 20, 2011. Father of Rosalie (Anthony) Milano, Blaise Zullo, Gina Zullo, Nicholas Zullo Jr. and the late John Zullo. Brother of Teresa Monico. Nicholas also is survived by 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters Maggie Denos, John Zullo, Tony Zullo, Angelina Biscardi, Antoinette Bruno and Margarette Guarino. Nicholas was the son of the late Biagio and Rafaela Fordia Zullo. He was a WWII Army Veteran and was an avid New York Yankees fan who loved playing cards. He battled cancer for four years and did things his way.
