Nicholas Victor Carasso, 76, died peacefully May 11, 2012, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife Eva of 57 years; son Nicholas Carasso, Jr. of Destin, FL; daughter Sally Fransiscus and son-in-law, Mark Salais of Oceanside CA; daughter Grace Lambert and son-in-law, David Lambert of San Antonio, TX; four grandchildren, Valerie Lambert, David Lambert, Jr, Adam Lambert, Nicholas Carasso, III and spouse Angela, as well as multiple friends and other relatives who loved him for his kind and loving spirit.
Nicholas touched many lives with his gentle spirit and positive outlook on life. He retired from the Army after 26 years, in 1979 and moved to Destin, FL. He worked for Vitro in Fort Walton Beach for 20 years and retired in 1999. Nicholas was dearly loved by his family and friends and will be truly missed by all. However, he will forever be in our hearts.
Nicholas suffered many years with Parkinson’s’ and died from cancer.
