Nicholas Teti was granted his angel wings on March 29th, 2020, of Washington Twp. Age 67. He was surrounded by his wife and children.
Nick’s life would seem too short by many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time which one lives. His vivacious personality and love of music brought so much joy to our family and friends. He entertained us to the end.
Nick graduated from Camden Catholic High School in 1971. He continued his education and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1975 from Glassboro State College, now known as Rowan University.
Nick worked in the Yellow Page advertising business and formed his own company, National Advertising Placement Service in which he worked for many years. He then went on to form Direct Media and worked until his early retirement. However; music, night clubs, radio shows and performing weddings and events were the highlight of his life. Nick was in the music business for more than 55 years. He played an important part in many people’s lives by sharing his love of music. His personality could light up a room and you could see the world in his eyes.
Nick donated his time to ARC of New Jersey, Holy Family Church and various other local charities. Nick was inducted to the Legends of Vinyl Hall of Fame in 2016.
Nick is survived by his wife of 32 years, Paige Marie Pellegrino of Washington Township, NJ, daughter Autumn (Teti) Ruffner and her husband Randy Ruffner of Albany, NY, and son Cole Teti of Washington Township, NJ. Nick is also survived by his first grandchild expected to make an appearance this upcoming summer.
Nick is also survived by Lola Pellegrino, loving sister in law, Kathy Teti, many nieces, nephews, cousins and special lifelong friends. Nick was preceded in death by his brother, John Teti, and his parents, Nicholas Teti, and Gemma DelGiorno Teti.
