Nicholas Pasquale Turra, age 89 years, of Plymouth, formerly of Weymouth, died Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Tremont Rehabilitation Center in Wareham. He was the husband of Ruth G. (Birkenhead) Turra. Born in Braintree on April 17, 1930, he worked at Quincy Hospital in the dietary department for 23 years and worked Bethlehem Steel for 20 years. He was a member of the VFW Post and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was a United States Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War.Besides his loving wife Ruth, he is survived by his step-daughter Taylor of Ellsworth, Maine, grandchildren Deanna Alves, Matthew Pike, Elixabeth Giosti, Alyssa Lynn Pike and Annickia Pike, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Mary Turra, formerly of Randolph.
