Nicholas Makow, 40-year resident of Fort Walton Beach, passed away on June 10, 2008 at Ft. Walton Beach Medical Center. Nicholas was born March 9, 1924 in Newark, New Jersey to parents Boris Makow and Anastasia Sasnowska.
He served in the USAF for 27 years, retiring after being assigned to Eglin AFB in 1967.
Nicholas Makow is survived by his wife of 64 years, Irene, sons Richard and Kenneth and families, grandchildren Michael and Paul Makow, and Allison Morris, and five great-grandchildren.
