Nicholas Lee “Nicky ‘Noodle’” Parmenter, 26, of Galesburg, died on Saturday, June 11, 2016, 11:50 AM, at his home in Galesburg.
Nicky “Noodle” was born on November 30, 1989 in Galesburg. He is the son of the late Howard L. and Janet C. (Hagerty) Parmenter.
Nicky “Noodle” is survived by his mother, Janet of Galesburg; his love, Crystal Platt of Galesburg; three brothers, Todd Ash of Alexis, Zach (Kelly Fleming) Parmenter, and Justin Parmenter both of Galesburg; his nephew Brandon Parmenter; and niece, Addison Parmenter. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard; paternal grandparents.
Nicky “Noodle” attended Galesburg schools. He was currently learning to do odd jobs and home improvement skills. He was very proud at the skills he was learning. Nicky “Noodle” loved to play the drums, write songs, and poetry. He loved to watch wrestling; but most of all, he loved spending time and hanging out with his niece and nephew.
Nicky “Noodle” loved to socialize and have a good time. Due to his bright personality, there was never a dull moment when he was around. Nicky “Noodle” was one of a kind and the absence of his presence is deeply felt.
