Nicholas John “Nik” George, II, 64, of Raleigh, passed away after a brief illness at Rex Hospital on November 3, 2019. Nik was born in Miami, Florida on April 21, 1955. He was a consultant with AT&T for 37 years and worked for the last 5 years with BB&T. He loved gardening, being out in nature, and woodworking. However, his biggest passions were Jeopardy, football, and championing the Democratic party. His family was special to him and he treasured his time exploring national parks with his two daughters. He leaves behind his wife of 27 years, Anabella Azcarraga George; daughters, Tegan George and Nicole George; step-father; brother & his wife; sister & her husband and his beloved cat, Darby.
