Nicholas F. Oriente, Jr., on January 10, 2019, of Washington Twp. Age 79. Beloved husband of Anita M. (nee Melchiorre). Devoted father of Lori Campisano (Pete), Lisa Duerr (Ronnie), Cindy Marino (Al), and Gail Salamoni (Anthony). Loving grandfather of Nicky (Lauren), Danielle, Peter, Erica, Michael, Joe, Dan, Marissa, Michelle, Jeffrey, and Julia. Dear brother of Madeline Lentine (Steve). Loved by nieces and nephews.
Nick was born and raised in South Philadelphia and married his high school sweetheart Anita. For over 50 years, he was a proud and dedicated General Foreman and pipefitter with Steamfitters Union Local 420. Together, with his wife, he raised his four daughters in Washington Township, New Jersey. He was a great provider and made many sacrifices to ensure their happiness. Through the years, he enjoyed watching his children, and later his grandchildren play sports and other activities. He loved reading the newspaper and was always viewing interesting TV shows about history, remodeling and the news. He really enjoyed talking politics and you knew his opinion and respected him for it. He also loved fishing, bowling, carpentry and cheering on all of the Philadelphia sports teams.
