Nicholas Conrad Limpose, age 90, of El Paso, Texas formerly of Salem and Leetonia, died at 5:05 a.m. March 14, 2012 in El Paso. He was born March 14, 1922 in East Palestine, Ohio, the son of the late Joseph Limpose and Caroline (Pateti) Limpose Reed.
Nick was a retired Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and had previously served in the U.S. Army. He served 30 years for country in WWII with General Patton, Korea and Vietnam. He was awarded three bronze stars and numerous awards. His wife, Audrey Jean (Guy) Limpose, whom he married November 5, 1943, preceded him in death January 9, 2008.
His infant brother, Carl Limpose; three brothers, Martin J. Limpose Sr., John P. Limpose and Harry H. Reed; and a sister, Catherine (Limpose) Mellott also preceded him in death. Survivors include his sisters, Philomena Limpose Fagan of Salem and Cora (Ray) Hollabaugh of Canton; a brother, Joseph (Chieko) Limpose of Struthers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
