Newton R. “Newt” Emerson, 83 of Manchester, loving husband for sixty years of Marilyn (Miller) Emerson, died Tuesday March 15, 2016 at Hartford Hospital after a sudden illness at home.
Newt was born in Hartford on December 23, 1932, son of Albin and Dorothy (Arnold) Emerson. He was raised in East Hartford and Bolton, served stateside with the Army Corps of Engineers during the Korean War, and has resided in Manchester since the mid-1950’s.
