Newton Douglas “Jack” MyersNovember 3, 1932 ~ October 11, 2009Mr. Jack Myers, 76, of Hazel Green, died Sunday at his residence. Mr. Myers was born in Moorhead, Ms, served in the US Navy, and was a painter who had retired from Chrysler. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmo Douglas and Mary Lorena Myers; by his brothers, Roy Lewis, Thomas Lavell, and three half-brothers, Willford Biggs, Earnest Biggs, and Lee Myers. He is survived by his sons, Stephen Ray, Earnest Dale, and Lee Douglas. By his step-children, Ronald (Barbara) Van Deven, Nancy Van Deven, Kathleen (Russell) Asher, Barbara Ion, Bettie (Kim) Bennett, Marilene (Garry) Summerlin, Ted (Luann) Van Mr. Myers’ wishes, no services have been planned.
