Neva Myers Petry, 83, Anderson, passed away June 1, 2010 at Community Northview Care Center, Anderson. She was born September 10, 1926 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Anderson most of her life. Neva was a 1944 graduate of Anderson High School.
She was a homemaker and sold Avon. She had previously worked at Ben Franklin stores. Neva was a member of Daleville United Methodist Church, was a past Worthy Matron of the OES Daleville and North Vernon and was a member of the Home Ec Club.
She is survived by her husband whom she married September 10, 1948, James Petry; three children, Alice Jean Robert Miller, Marsha Lynn Tom Shank and Lee Franklin Petry; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Franklin and Lorraine Gertrude Gibson Myers; brother, Nile Edward Myers and sister, Norma Naselroad.
