She is the daughter of the late Willie Ray and Zelma Green Knott Grissom
Nettie was preceded in death by her husband Sammy Joseph Aiello, they were married in April 1989. She is also preceded in death by her son Tyler Carlton Wedding and brothers Rudy, Willie, Jesse, Charlie, and Floyd Grissom.
Nettie is survived by her children Deborah Lucille Wedding , Fred Wilbur Wedding, and Philip Kennedy and daughters-in-law Cheryl Wedding, Sally Wedding and Connie Kennedy, and her grandchildren Darlene, Wilbur, Pam, Jennifer, Kim, Jeremy, Terry, Diane, Marie, Wesley and 31 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Delano Grissom, Lucille Grissom Bowie and Pearl Grissom Harter.
She enjoyed crocheting, listening to Gospel music, attending her Sunday School Class and being with family. Nettie was most proud of her salvation experience.
She could be feisty, loving and very caring. Her favorite Bible scriptures were John 3:16 and Psalm 23. She loved taking care of the sick and elderly.
