Rev. Nettie M. Reitzel, 86, of East Allen Township, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 17, at Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the Rev. F. Eber Reitzel, Sr., with whom she shared almost 66 years of loving marriage.
Born in Harrisburg, Nettie was one of nine children born to the late Harry and Anna (Moyer) Schambach. She was a talented musician and a licensed minister. She was a music teacher, choir director, church organist, and a day care teacher.
Survivors: loving husband Eber; children Deborah Reitzel of Oak Ridge, NJ, Elaine Ray and her husband Ronnie of Randolph, MA, Frank Reitzel, Jr. and his wife Cindy of Pemberton, NJ; grandchildren Elizabeth Strysko, Grant Reitzel, Zachary Ray, Stefanie Depp, Ethan Ray; great-grandchildren Davidson, Alexander and Lily-James Strysko. Nettie was welcomed into heaven by her late great-granddaughter, Chloe West Ray, and her 8 brothers and sisters.
