Nestor P. Pabon, Sr.
Norwich, CT – Nestor P. Pabon, Sr. passed away Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Hartford Hospital in Hartford.
He was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico on March 12, 1950 son of Jose` Soto and Carmen L. Pabon. Nestor went to Manuel A. Barreto High School in Puerto Rico. He was married to Lorraine Pabon.
Mr. Pabon was a proud veteran and served honorably in the United States Army in Vietnam and later went on to the National Guard in which he served for 20 years. Nestor worked at Foxwoods Resort and Casino for the 20 years in the traffic control / valet department.
He is survived by his mother Carmen Soto Pabon, his four siblings Augusto Pabon, Mildren Pabon, Jessie Rivera and Ivette Soto, his wife Lorraine Pabon, his two children Nestor, Jr. and Jamain Pabon, Sr. eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren and his girlfriend, Santa Figueroa.
