Nestor T. “Wedo” De La Torre Jr., 75, of Bayard entered eternal rest Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Nestor was born in Santa Rita on February 25, 1936 to Nestor Sr. and Estanistlada (Telles) De La Torre. He served his country in the US Navy and work for Kennecott Copper Mines. He was a loving caring man. He will be greatly missed by all.
Nestor is survived by his loving wife Mary of the family home, 3 sons Michael and Berniece of Las Lunas, NM, Robert and wife Shawna of Waxahachie, TX, and Gilbert (Gibby) and Wife Terri of Bayard, NM; also surviving him are his grandchildren; Kelly (Dennis), Randilynn (Josh), Michael, Josetta, Shane (Krysten), Alex (Alicia), Danielle, Eric, Joseph, Jeremy and Liam; and great grandkids; D’ Andreah, Yazzie, Kayden, Damacio, Alex Jr., and Emilio.
Preceding him in death was his parents, one son Christopher “Pino” De La Torre and one granddaughter Coraline.
