Nelvin I. Peterson Jr. (Nellie) (Pete) joined his family in heaven on July 17, 2012 after a reoccurrence of leukemia.
Nelvin I. Peterson Jr. was born on 9/26/33 in Eau Claire, WI. He attended Osseo Public Schools and graduated in 1951. He attended Eau Claire State & Lacrosse University before being drafted into the Army in 1953. After an honorable discharge in 1955 he returned to Lacrosse University and graduated in 1958 with a Bachelor of Science degree. He worked as Physical Director of the Wausau WMCA for 2 years and entered the teaching profession as a teacher and coach at Horace Mann Junior High until 1967.
