Obituary of Nelson R. Scheuermann
Age 85, resident of St. Paul, Minn., formerly of Warwick, N.Y., passed away on 2/13/17. Preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Katherine (Daubert) Scheuermann; his brothers, George and Herman, and sisters, Emma Hunt, Esther, and Florence Flood; and his beloved wife Josephine (Stopa) Scheuermann in 2011. Nelson was a 1949 graduate of Warwick High School, served in the U.S. Navy, and retired from a 35-year career at Orange and Rockland Utilities. He served as a volunteer fireman for Florida Fire Department. He coached Little League, learned to fly an airplane, and was a life-long NY Yankees fan. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing golf, and traveling. He is survived by his daughters, Ann Scheuermann of Roseville, Minn. and Louise Copeland of St. Paul; and his sons, David Scheuermann and his wife Mary Scheuermann of Philadelphia, Pa. and Michael Scheuermann and his wife Leticia Scheuermann of Santa Ana, Calif. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Aeryn, Edward, Daniel, Max, Christopher, Stephanie, and Julia.
