He retired from the US Air Force in 1978 after serving 17 years, he served as a inspector, mechanic and a enemy spotter where he recieved a medal. He also served in the Navy and Marines. He was a resident of New Hampshire for the last 20 years, previously he lived in Burrillville. He was a Korean veteran and also a Vietnam veteran where he served 2 tours of duty. He was a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars in New Hampshire.
