Nelson D. Kegley, Age 79, of Vanceburg passed away Thursday January 24, 2019 at his home. Nelson was born in Stricklett, Ky. February 5, 1939 to the late Willard and Verna May Howell Kegley. Nelson retired from the Ford Motor Co. in Lorain, Ohio where he worked has a forklift operator for 30 years. After his retirement he worked along side his brother Howard in siding. He loved playing cards every Friday night with his brothers and sisters and liked playing practical jokes on them and the family.
He LOVED his children and adored his grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren.
Surviving Nelson is his wife of 22 years whom he married November 18th, 1996 in Vanceburg, Ky. Wilma Russell Kegley.
Children- Debbie Kegley and her companion (Tom) of Campton, Ky., Dana (Walt) Moore, and Christopher (Deanna) Kegley both of New London, Ohio. Della Logan and Tammy Stacy both of Flemingsburg, Ky., Travis Stacy of Wallingford, Ky.,
Mother of Nelson’s children- Helen Kegley.
9-grandchildren, 4-great-grandchildren and 3-great-great-grandchildren.
