Nelson C. Nicholson, 82, of Orange, passed away Nov. 2, 2015 in Yale New Haven Hospital. He was the husband of Carole McCarthy Nicholson. Mr. Nicholson was born in Danbury on Jan. 9, 1933, son of the late Michael and Esther Gara Nicholson. He was the founder and operator of Nicholson Associates, Inc. insurance agency in Milford. An accomplished magician, he was a member of several magicians organizations including the Society of American Magicians, the International Brotherhood of Magicians and The Magic Circle of London.
