Nellie E. Bloomfield Horn

Nellie was born January 28, 1921 to George and Lora Bloomfield in Alcester, South Dakota. Nellie and her parents and brother, Caleb, moved to Caldwell in July of 1929 and settled on a farm between Caldwell and Middleton.
Nellie married Clyde Hempsmyer and they later divorced. She married Lawrence L. Horn on December 23, 1947 and he passed away in July of 1988. Nellie has two step children, Barbara Arnoldus of La Grande, Oregon and Eddie Horn of Ontario, Oregon.
Nellie is survived by her best and loyal friend, Ivan E. Rekow, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her two brothers and their spouses as well as a step-grandson.
