Nellie Buchanan Brower, 89, of 7172 Meadowbranch Rd., Seagrove, died Monday, February 5, 2018 at FirstHealth Hospice & Palliative Care in West End.
Nellie was a native of Cleburne County, Alabama and a lifelong resident of Seagrove. She was a dedicated farmer and homemaker, a devoted wife, loving mother, and grandmother. Nellie was a member of Community Independent Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleveland “Pete” Brower, her parents, Thomas J. and Letha Kaylor Buchanan, son-in-laws, Billy Ray Murphy, and Alan Lee Brittingham.
Survivors: daughters Nellie Jean Murphy, of Seagrove, Florence Brittingham, of Seagrove, sister, Lovie Sain, of Asheboro, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
