Nelda LeCorchick of Aurora died on Sunday, November 17. Nelda, the daughter of Murray and Jennie (Tinius) Bailey, was born September 30, 1925 in Merna, NE. Nelda was raised on farms in Custer County, NE. She attended Kearney State Teachers College and taught country school for 2 years. She met her future husband Edwin LeCorchick while he was stationed in Kearney during World War II. Nelda lived in several states across the country, but primarily in Colorado. She was a devoted wife and mother, doting grandmother, and caring friend.
Nelda is survived by her sister Kathryn Newman of Broken Bow, NE, son Charles (Mary) LeCorchick of Colorado Springs, daughter Jenny Zovein of Aurora, grandsons Jamshaud (Ann) Zovein of Manhattan Beach, CA, Chris Buckley of San Diego, CA, Caleb LeCorchick of Colorado Springs, granddaughters Abby (Gordon) Scarlett of Centennial and Marjon Zovein of Aurora, and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Edwin, sisters Anita Miller, Olivene Bailey, Bonnie Sherman, brothers Sam Bailey, Karl Bailey, Marvin Bailey, daughter Baby Girl LeCorchick, and grandson Andy LeCorchick.
