Neil Bauer, 78, of Fort Walton Beach, FL passed away June 6, 2007 after a brief illness.
Neil was born November 20, 1928 in Hamilton, OH, and served in Korea in 1950-1951. He worked Sales in Columbus, IN. In 1994, he retired and moved to Fort Walton Beach to enjoy fishing and boating. He enjoyed the outdoors, his yard and watching birds. Neil was a volunteer for the Coast Guard Auxiliary and active in the Gems and Mineral Club.
He was a devoted family man and is survived by his loving wife, Doris, of 58 years; sons, Richard and wife, Gloria, of Fort Walton Beach, Russell of Austin, TX, and Robert and wife, Dorothy, of Albany, CA; daughters, Theresa Vaughan and husband, David, of Pittsburg, KS, Diana Doty and husband, Marc, of Brownsburg, IN, and Julie Privette of Chattanooga, TN; seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Russell.
