Nedra L. Francini, 71, of Forestville, widow of Donald L. Francini, died Saturday, June 28, 2008, at the Subacute Center of Bristol.
She was born August 20, 1936 in Fort Fairfield, ME, daughter of the late Wilfred and Frances (LaPointe) Ramo. A longtime resident of Forestville, Nedra was employed at the Big Y Supermarket in Plainville and Torrington for over thirty years until her retirement. She was also a sponsor of the Christian Children’s Fund.
She is survived by her son, Frank Matarazzo of Forestville; her daughter, Shelley Francini of Bristol; her step-daughter, Donna Francini-Wofford of Bristol; her two grandchildren, Nicole Cupe of Bristol and James A. Wofford, III of Bristol; her great-granddaughter, Samantha Wofford; her brother, Wilfred Ramo of Bristol; her lifelong best friends, Edward Bradley, Cathy Carrea, Barbara Wells, and Betty Ann Bayne, all of Bristol; several nieces, nephews and other close relatives. She was predeceased by a grandson, Isic Newberry and a sister, Linda Ramo.
