Ned Mitchell Rebentisch passed away peacefully at age 86 on December 30, 2016 from cardiac arrest. He was surrounded by his family.
Ned was born on February 25, 1930 in Highland Park, Michigan to Leone & Dr. Clarence enlisted in the U.S. Air Force as Airman 1st Class after high school graduation. He served in Korea and Greenland during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged.
Ned met and married Gloria P. Woolley in Coral Gables, FL in October, 1957. After which they moved to Brevard County, FL in 1958. He began and ended his career in aerospace at Kennedy Space Center, Seattle, Washington and Vandenberg AFB, California.
Ned is survived by his wife Gloria of 59 years; daughter, Kim; son, the Reverend Kris; Grandchildren, Samantha, Luke and Mae. Ned was predeceased by his son, Kurt.
