Patel and husband Rakesh of Brandon, MS; a granddaughter: Siya R. Patel of Brandon, MS; two brothers: Navinbhai K. Patel and Family of Kansas City, MO and Janytilal K. Patel and Family of Carbondale; and two sisters: Gomtiben M. Patel and Family of Cincinnati, OH and Niruben S. Patel and Family of Columbia, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law: Maneklal Patel.
