Mr. Villanueva was born June 12, 1980 in Memphis, Texas, the son of Natividad Villanueva Jr and Sylvia Vargas Villanueva. He was a 1999 graduate of Temple High School. He married Leslie Perez, February 19, 2005. They made their home in San Antonio.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Natividad Sr.and Augustina Villanueva, one sister, Esmeralda Davis and one brother Abel Villanueva.
Survivors include his wife Leslie Villanueva of Temple; daughter Natalia Villanueva of Temple; father Natividad Villanueva, Jr. of Temple; mother Sylvia Saldana of North Dakota; four brothers Jonathan Villanueva of Temple, J. R. Saldana of North Dakota, Mauro Villanueva of Temple, Rosendo Villanueva of Temple and sister, Ashley Villanueva of McGregor; grandmother, Julia Vargas of Cameron.
