Nathaniel (Bud) W. Durgin Sr., 82, resident of Danvers, MA, passed away peacefully at his home on July 24, 2017. Bud was born in Beverly, MA on December 11, 1934 and was the son of Nathalie (Wright) and George Durgin of Danvers. Bud married his wife and soulmate, Patricia (Michaud), and was married for 41 wonderful years. Their loving and devoted relationship carried them through many years of raising their children, numerous foster children, and dedicating themselves to children’s causes, animal rescue groups and military causes. Bud was a member of the United States Air Force and became an aircraft mechanic during the Korean Conflict. His love of his country and aircraft followed him all the years of his life.
