Nathan Wayne Wilson 70, of Sharpsburg, GA, passed away on June 19, 2021. Wayne, as he was known by friends and family, was born on February 28, 1951, in Thomaston, GA, to the late Roy Earl Wilson and Ella Mae Wilson Sharp. Along with his father, he is preceded in death by his wife, Cindy Wilson. Wayne graduated from East Coweta High School in 1970. He retired from the Coweta County Water and Sewage Department in 2017. He danced for many years with Rachel’s Dance Connection. He used his dance talent for performing at events and instructing local celebrities and performing for Coweta and Fayette County’s Dancing with the Stars Charity Events. Wayne enjoyed camping, boating, and an occasional trip to Biloxi. Wayne is survived by his mother, Ella May Wilson Sharp; children, Troy Wilson and his wife Teresa, Wanda Wilson, Brittany Mayfield and her husband Blake, and Kiera Palmer and her husband Trey; his grandchildren, Chloe Scheffield, Abigail Wilson, William Wilson, Morgan Cole, Tessa Cole, Baxton Mayfield, and Easton Mayfield; his brother, Lamar Wilson and his wife Theresa, his sister, Sandra Turley and her husband Alvin, his brother, Jimmy Wilson and his wife Diana; his uncle, Randall Shirah and his wife Lucile along with numerous nieces and nephews.
