Nathan Thao Lane Cool Sr was born November 9,1982 to his parents Nancy Jane Hall now in Glen Burnie and Alan Cool Sr which has passed on. Thao as called by most grew up in the Brooklyn/Brooklyn Park area most of his life with his two brothers Alan Cool Jr , Donald Melvin Cool and his one sister Michele Dorsey. His greatest gift he ever gave and will miss him is his son Nathan Cool Jr. Thao loved his son and those that knew him always heard him talk about “Nate”.
Although his name was Nathan most new him as “Thao ,”some as “Taco”, or even as his mother woould call him “Bighead”.
One of Thao favorite hobbies when he had the chance was fishing, his love for being outdoors came from him and his brothers time as young boys staying night after night or weekend after weekend with Mom-Mom and Aunt Sharen in Gambrills, helping in the garden and with the many animals they raised.
Thao also played youth baseball for Brooklyn Park Youth Assoc. and youth football for the A.A. Gridiron Rebels. He never lost his love for sports and enjoyed watching almost any sport he could.
His greatest love was his family and friends. His son Nate was his prize in this world and his Daddy sure did love him. Thao could make anyone laugh at him or with him, he didn’t care he just wanted to see the smile on your face. Thats when he was comfortable, when you were too. If there was a cookout and he was there you can bet he was helping, or asking to help. He was a kind and caring person that will be missed by us all.
Thao left us all on Tuesday August 30, 2011 at the young age of 28 to go home. As he looks down on us we will have our great memories of the laughter he gave and the love we shared.
