He confessed Christ as his personal savior and was a member of Wheeler Chapel Full Gospel Baptist Church. Although he struggled with sickle cell anemia, he showed exceptional faith in God.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Renae Taylor and grandparents; Minnie Lee Taylor, Richard and Bessie Hines.
He leaves to cherish his memory: a devoted mother, Margaret Taylor(James Bentford); father, Nathan “Boone” Hines all of Decatur; Grandfather, James Taylor of Cleveland, Ohio; one sister, Shayeann Taylor (Marcus King) of Hillsboro; one brother, Torome Taylor (Lakesha) of Decatur; six aunts, Charlotte Hines, Anna Hines, Polly Baker (Calvin) , Shelia Baker (Richard), Brenda Baker (Ervin) and Donna Burgess all of Decatur; five uncles, Billy Hines, Richard Hines, Bob Hines all of Decatur, Tommy Lee Hines of Mississippi and Andre Taylor of Phoenix City, Arizona; seven nieces, four nephews and a host of cousins , other relatives and friends.
