Nathan John Ramirez, 37, of Pueblo, CO went to be with the Lord on July 11, 2020.  He was born August 12, 1982 in La Junta, CO to Samual and MaryLou (Maestas) Ramirez.

He graduated from La Junta High School in 2001.  He went on to become a proud Colorado State University-Pueblo alumni graduating in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in business management.

Nathan began his banking career at Pueblo Bank & Trust.  Thereafter, he continued his banking career with Ent Federal Credit Union in Pueblo and Colorado Springs where he eventually served as Manager of Lending Support.  He worked for Ent Federal Credit Union for 15 years and created many special and close relationships with many coworkers.

Nathan graduated from La Junta High School in 2001 where he played basketball and baseball and enjoyed making memories with numerous teammates and friends.  He loved recalling his days of coaching little league and playing with the Slammers as a child.

Nathan was married to Olivia, the love of his life, for 15 years.  He and Olivia traveled to many places and created many wonderful memories together.  They could always be found laughing and dancing together, and creating a party wherever they went.

Nathan was a loving father and “Papo”, and cherished every minute he spent with Natasha, Eddie, Kenzie, and Kenleigh.  He enjoyed watching Eddie play football for East High School and cheering on the entire team.

Nathan loved music and he loved to dance.  He and Olivia attended many concerts together.  He was extremely outgoing and he and Olivia enjoyed hosting friends and family at Lincoln Auditorium.  Nathan was an avid sports fan, always making sure to cheer on the Dallas Cowboys, the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Los Angeles Lakers, or the CSU-P Thunderwolves. As a proud CSU-P alumni, he was always quick to play the college fight song. One of his favorite past times was serving as a home plate umpire for Runyon.  He loved watching all sports; football, baseball, UFC fighting, and especially boxing. More importantly, he loved inviting his family and friends over to watch them.  His family and friends always looked forward to his annual horseshoe tournament at Lincoln Auditorium.

Nathan is survived by his parents; Samuel and MaryLou (Maestas) Ramirez of La, Junta; his wife Olivia of Pueblo, his children, Natasha and Eddie Gutierrez; his granddaughters, his “Love Bugs”, Kenzie and Kenleigh Gutierrez; his brother Sam (Valerie) Ramirez of La Junta; his sister Leandra (Josh) Dickerson of Nebraska, his brother Brian (Nicole) Ramirez of Pueblo; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and devoted friends.
