Nathan was born August 8, 1965 in Sampson County to the late William E. and Swannie Mae Quinn Hudson. He graduated from Union High School in 1983 and was an avid N.C. State fan. Nathan helped start the first fire medic in Sampson County at the Turkey Fire Department.
