Nathan James Busacker, 15, of Boise, Idaho was called home on October 25, 2015. He was born on December 27, 1999 in Boise, Idaho and left behind a legacy of passion, kindness, and joy.

Nathan was a young man who was passionate about life. Whatever he believed, he felt with his whole heart. He felt strongly about accepting others and reaching out to many who were struggling and needed a friend. Because he was impassioned about so many things, lively discussions about politics, religion, and Apple vs. Android were common at the dinner table.

Nathan brought to our family the gift of kindness. He was patient with his brothers, supportive of his friends, and helpful to his parents. He loved to teach people and help them in any way he could. He was one of the most compassionate people we’ve ever met.

Nathan found joy in learning. Nearly every evening Nathan could be found watching videos on his phone about his latest interest or writing some new equation on his window with a dry erase marker.

Nathan brought joy and laughter to our family. He enjoyed riding his rip stick, skiing (double black diamonds), running, weight lifting, teaching others, and working with computers. He loved his brothers and played with them often. Most of all, Nathan loved making burgers on the smoker and eating french fries … everyday!

Nathan’s name means “Gift from God”. For 15 years, Nathan has been a gift to us all. He will be missed every day by family and friends who will always remember his passion, kindness, and joy. We cannot wait to see him again. We love you Nathan!

He is survived by his parents, Brandon and Claire Busacker; his siblings, Chase, Tanner, Cole, and Brennan; his grandparents, Bill and Brenda Busacker; maternal grandfather, Monte Scaggs; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Beyond the veil of his life, his Grandma Shirley and cousin Kelli have welcomed him home.
