He was born September 16, 1943 in Fairmont, son of the late John Dee and Hallie Margaret Van Buren Abersold. He is survived by two brothers, Silas Jackson Abersold, Enterprise, AL, John Edward Abersold, Fairmont; several cousins. He was preceded in death by one brother, Samuel George Abersold.
