Natalie Claire Conrad, 26, of Peru, formerly of Ottawa, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021. She was expecting a baby boy, Owen Edward Kelly.
Natalie was born on August 9, 1995 in Chicago to David and Jill (Callaway) Conrad. She moved with her family from Lemont, Illinois to Ottawa where she attended Wallace Grade School. She was a 2013 graduate of Ottawa Township High School.
Natalie enjoyed all sports, especially playing soccer, having earned a college scholarship to play for St. Francis in Joliet. She loved bowling, and was an avid runner. She loved all the Chicago sports teams, having gone to all 3 Blackhawk’s Stanley Cup Championship parades. She was a proud “redneck” at heart, enjoying hunting, fishing, camping, cowboy boots, bonfires and driving country roads playing her favorite country music. She touched so many lives and called most of her parents’ friends her aunts and uncles. She also made many connections with everyone in the Dayton Ridge Golf Club community and at YSB. We will miss her bright light everywhere she went.
She is survived by her parents, Dave and Jill of Ottawa; a brother, Scott Conrad of Ottawa; her significant other, Ryan Kelly of Peru and his children, Olivia and Ben; paternal grandmother, Jean Shea; aunts and uncles, Ron Callaway, Kim (Deb) Besse, Steve (Connie) Callaway, Jason (Michele) Callaway, Jeff (Lisa) Callaway, Phil (Vicki) Hanrahan, Dan (Julie) Conrad, and Frank (Maureen) Conrad and many, many beloved cousins; Meredith (Dave) Hanrahan, Megan (Jackson) Kontny and Leo, Philip (Morgan) Hanrahan, Bill, Kimberly, Christopher, Kevin, Kileen, Ryan, Maura, and Quinn Conrad. Ronnie Callaway and Tyler and Cameron, Leslie (Doug) Wisler and Hannah and Sophie, Bryon (Meagan) Besse and Kaitlyn, Bryson and Billy, Rachel Callaway and Andrew (Janelle) and Cali, Becky (Brian) Callaway and Christian, Austin and Dylan, Abby (Jason) Kennedy, Tory (Bobby) Sipula and Beckham, Nolan and Asher, Troy Callaway, Josh and Aaron Callaway and her beloved southern Callaway cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Emerson and Betty Callaway and paternal grandfathers Frank Conrad and Tom Shea.
