Naomi Ruth Jones, 82, passed away on February 19, 2021, at the Bailey Center in St. Augustine, FL.
Naomi was born in English, IN on March 13, 1938. When she got married, she moved to Anderson, IN where she lived most of her life. She has been a member of Southdale Church of the Nazarene for over 50 years. She enjoyed her work at the Christian publishing house, Warner Press, where she retired after many years.
Naomi is survived by her sister, Margaret Rose Standriff; son, Donald Kevin Geater; daughter, Ruth Ann Hall; three grandchildren, Allan Sheridan, Michaela Acuff, and Bradley Shafer; as well as great-grandson, Rory Acuff.
She was preceded in death by her parents, the Rev. G. R. and Margurite Bateman, and siblings, Freddie Bruce Bateman, James Alton Bateman, and Beulah Mae Prather.
