Naomi Robinson, age 93, of DeMotte, IN passed away Monday, January 10, 2022 at Oak Grove Christian Retirement Village.
On April 13, 1928, Naomi was born in Glamorgan, Virginia. She was raised by her grandparents, Silas and Elnora Bowman. Naomi attended Letcher County Public Schools in Hemphill, Kentucky.
Naomi was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Peo Sr. On February 28, 1976, she married Maurice L. Robinson at the DeMotte United Methodist Church and he preceded her in death on August 19, 2004.
Naomi was most recently a homemaker but previously worked at Barbara’s Laundromat. She was a member of the Kniman United Methodist Church, the Golden Gems, United Methodist Women, and Home Ec. Clubs. Naomi enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and gardening.
She is survived by her children: Stewart (Jan) Peo of DeMotte; Charles (Cindy) Peo of Wheatfield; Marilyn (Mike) Dobson of Medaryville; and Ron (Stephanie) Peo of Greenville, NC; step-children: Diane (Keith) Fredericks of Portage; Kevin (Kathy) Robinson of Hobart; step-son-in-law, Craig Schelegal of Englewood, CO; daughter-in-law, Karen Peo of DeMotte; previous daughters-in-law, Connie Dykstra of Lafayette and Linda Peo of Remington; 27 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
Naomi was preceded in death by her grandparents, mother Martha Collier, husbands, sons: Frank Peo, Jr, Larry Peo, Wayne Peo, Ralph Peo; and step-daughter, Janeane Schelegal.
