Passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Thursday, May 10, 2018. Age 74. Nancy was born in Atlanta, GA, on April 3, 1944, the daughter of the late Hamilton Morton Stephens, Jr. and Catherine Titus Stephens. She held a MS Degree in Education from Western Michigan University. For thirty years she was a beloved public school teacher at Edison Elementary in Kalamazoo, Cedar Street Elementary in Paw Paw, and finally Black River Elementary School in Paw Paw where she spent the majority of her teaching career before retiring.

Nancy enjoyed sewing, travel, getting a good bargain and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. She was united in marriage with her high school sweetheart, Bernard G. Foster on December 28, 1966, who survives her. She is also survived by her son, Robert (Bonnie) Foster of Northbrook, IL; two grandchildren, Ben Foster and John Foster; one sister, Sally (Paul) Hoelderle of Charlevoix; and countless nieces and nephews.
