Nancy (Sprague) Broman, 82, of Newington, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 20, 2015 at her home. Born in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Herbert and Elizabeth (Jones) Sprague, she was a Newington resident for over 53 years and a member of St. Mary’s Church and their Women’s Club. Nancy attended the University of Miami and retired from UConn Health Center’s Human Resource Dept. in 1992 after 20 years of employment. She had also worked part time for Dr. Joel Roffer, O.D. for 30 years. A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, she leaves her son Bruce Broman of Newington and her two grandchildren, Ashley and Brett Broman. Nancy also leaves her daughter-in-law Sylvie Broman of Lyon, France. She was predeceased by her son Mark Broman.
