Our beloved mother, Nancy Helen Sorensen Gibson, returned with honor to her Heavenly Home on August 21, 2021. She was born on June 8, 1939 in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of Lorraine Wright and Earl LeRoy Sorensen.

Nancy was sealed to her eternal companion Ronald Charles Gibson on November 7, 1957 in the Logan, Utah Temple.

Nancy was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a dedicated visiting teacher, Relief Society President, played the piano and lead music and served in many other church callings.

Nancy was a talented musician, she played the piano beautifully and loved to sing, often being asked to preform at special events and at church. Mother always had a special project to work on and loved sewing and quilting.

Above all, she was an amazing wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma and friend and she will be dearly missed.

Nancy is survived by her husband Ronald, children: Jan (Don) Carter; Joyce (Kevin) Ludlow; Lisa (Ronnie) Reeder; Kenneth (Heidi) Gibson and Paul (Danielle) Gibson; 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her siblings: Gene (Jodie) Sorensen, Karen (Alan) Marshall, and Brent (Debby) Sorensen.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family would like to thank the loving staff at the Auberge Assisted Living Center, Dr. Mark Firth and Applegate Hospice for all their care of our mom.
