Nancy Ruth Richards Youngblood, 65, of Terre Haute died Saturday, January 9, 2021, at 3:27 am in Union Hospital. She was born June 8, 1955, the only child of Ruth Alice Reynolds Richards and Alonza Ambrose Richards. She married Harvey Joe Youngblood on December 28, 1978.
Nancy attended Ivy Tech and later St. Mary of the Woods where she graduated 2nd in her class with honors in 1995. She went on to be an accountant for multiple businesses over the years and after retiring she continued to do taxes for family and friends. Nancy was a very loving, caring, and creative person. She loved sewing, quilting, crocheting, knitting, trying new recipes, reading, playing games, and canning.
Survivors include her husband Harvey, daughter Amanda Ruth Youngblood (Graham James), some cousins, nieces, nephews, Mother-in-law Marge Evans, Sister-in-law Maryland Inabnit(Jerry), Brother-in-law Rick Youngblood(Diane), Adoptive sister/ best friend Sharon Williams(Ronnie), Adoptive children Heather W.-H., Carrie W.-2 kids, Crystal D.-2 kids, Holly A., Anthony “Wedge” B. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents Glenn James Reynolds and Lydia Ruth Edwards Reynolds, and Father-in-law Melvin Lee Youngblood.
