Nancy Ruth Bishop Age 76 of Corunna passed away Monday, December 31, 2018 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 11am Friday, January 4, 2019 at Salem Lutheran Church with Pastor James Bare officiating. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Homes, Owosso Chapel on Thursday from 2pm to 8pm.Nancy was born March 28, 1942 in Saginaw, the daughter of Robert and Helen Fedder.She graduated from Saginaw Arthur Hill High School and the University of Detroit School of Dental Hygiene, class of 1963Nancy was a member of Salem Lutheran Church where she was active in church altar guild and choir. She enjoyed working with stained glass and doing charity work. In her spare time she wrote hymns and poetry that has been published.Nancy was employed through the years as a dental hygienist at Dr Smiggen and Dr Dahlgreen’s office.Nancy is survived by her son, Timothy Bishop (Sabrina); sister Marcena Woodcock; grandchildren Stephanie Newman and Kelsey, William, Timothy Jr and Lucas Bishop; and two great grandchildren; many other loving family members and friends.She was predeceased by her son Andrew Bishop, brother Robert, and her parents.Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
