Nancy Russello Castillo, 78, of Concord, North Carolina, passed away on January 7, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Nancy was born on January 13, 1944 in Brooklyn, New York.  A strong and loving woman; she lived life to the fullest until the end.  

She remembered every birthday – always sending cards and gifts filled with “Lots of Love-n-Stuff XoXoXo”

The Matriarch – record keeper, photo keeper, family story teller…it appealed to her sense of order.  She was all about tradition with a handful of crazy thrown in – no one would’ve wanted her any other way!

She was predeceased by her husband Joseph W. Castillo, her parents Carmelo and Olga (Illiano) Russello, siblings Nicholas Russello, Amelio “Cookie” Russello and Maria “Mary” (Russello) Pace,  step son Joseph “Joe Jr.” Castillo and great-granddaughter NoraJean Renee Langley.  

Nancy is survived by her loving daughter NancyAnn (Romano) Bowman and husband Brian Bowman, granddaughter Justine (Lanier) LaFrance and husband Jacob LaFrance, step son Jason Castillo, grandsons Jacob and Logan Castillo and her beautiful daughter-in-“love” Meg (Graham) Castillo along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a wonderful family of friends.
