Nancy Nelson
Nancy (Benedict) Nelson, age 78, of Danbury, died Thursday, October 24, 2013 at her home. She was the wife of Richard W. Nelson.
Nancy was born in Danbury, October 9, 1935, daughter of the late Fred and Ruth (Ackridge) Benedict. Formerly of New Fairfield, she was an area resident all of her life. She loved to play golf and was an avid Duckpin Bowler.
In addition to her husband of 55 years, she is survived by 2 daughters: Patricia A. Morosky and her friend Tim Smith of Dover Plains, NY, Debra L. Vecchiarino and her husband Thomas of Danbury, CT; 5 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter: Kelly Ann Nelson.
