Nancy Edwards, 89, of Ottawa died Saturday morning, October 31, in her home.
Nancy was born June 16, 1926 in Olney, Illinois, to William G. and Verna (Classon) McFarland. She married Chesley O. Edwards on July 1, 1947 in Ironwood, Michigan. Mrs. Edwards worked for General Telephone as a clerk, and retired as a manager. She is survived by her two daughters, Mary Lee Dudzienski of Aurora, Illinois and Jennifer I. (Donald) Grogg of Jefferson, South Carolina.
She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chesley, on March 29, 1999; one son, Wiley Edwards; one daughter, Melanie Meenen; and two sisters, Patricia Jane Nelson, and Melba Jean Ball.
