Nancy Lynn(née Mongold) Kirksey, born July 19, 1951, passed peacefully into the arms of God with her children by her side on December 26, 2022. Nancy was the daughter of the late Harry Mongold and the late Elsie(née Henderson) Mongold. Nancy was predeceased by her loving husband of over 52 years, Donald. Nancy is survived by her children, Hope Kirksey and her partner, Paul Sanz, along with her son, Craig Kirksey and his wife, Jessica(née Bowman) Kirksey. Nancy was the loving and proud Grandmother of Hope’s children, Tanner Foster and Megan(née Foster) Coverdale and her husband, Dave Coverdale, along with Craig and Jessica’s children, Madelyne, Tristan, Austin, and Jackson Kirksey. She was a loving Great Grandmother to Tanner’s son, Troy Foster. Nancy is also survived by her beloved brother Harry and his wife Paulette Mongold. Nancy had many cousins and friends who will miss her dearly.
Nancy will be remembered as the steadfast loving caretaker of her husband, Don, during his long illness. Her strength and love did not go unnoticed by anyone, especially her family. Nancy was loving, nurturing, funny, fiercely loyal, and giving. Her love for her pets throughout her years was only matched by the love for her family and friends.
Nancy is with her Don now and together they are walking Barney pain free in heaven. You are so loved and missed.
