Mrs. Nancy Lee Thies, 71, Rising Sun, IN. passed away at 9:45 PM, Monday, July 28th, 2008 at The Waters of Dillsboro in Dillsboro, IN. She was the widow of Bob Thies. Nancy and Bob were married on 11/03/1958. Nancy was born in Springdale, PA on October 26, 1936, the daughter of the late Frank and Gladys (Stokes) Foster. She worked at Terrace View Nursing Home for 35 years.
Nancy is survived by
three sons Rob Thies (Mona) of Dillsboro, IN; , Frankie Killian of Ohio; , John Killian of North Carolina; and by 6 gandchilren and by 8 great-grandchildren. Nancy is also survived by two sisters, Marion Louise Younkins of Clinton, PA; , Glady Ann Gamble (Abe) of Clarksville, TN. She was preceded by her parents, her husband , Bob, and by brothers, Franklin Stokes Foster and James Mickey Foster, and by sisters, Josephine Bettis Gamble and Marjorie Belle Kutchco.
